Since 1997, Chicago Blues Cruise has grazed fat on the blues wilderness, and delivers an impressive repertoire with cool interpretations of the best numbers from the known and unknown corners of the blues. Chicago Blues Cruise solidly and stylishly sends the blues music out of its comfort zone and over the edge of the stage for any juicy blues event.

Singer and guitarist Peer Steen Mortensen is at the front with his convincing blues voice and crunchy lead guitar. He is flanked by Mogens Nygaard Jensen's funky rhythm grooves and his inspiring and whimsical lead guitar. The elegant chord combos and the spicy solos are provided by Michael Braüner Meyer both on piano and roaring Hammond organ. It all rests and sways on a stable bottom line from Thomas Laurberg Vedel's drum set and Rune Winkel Josephsen's rock-steady bass.
