Chicago Blues Cruise welcomes Mogens Nygaard Jensen as the new guitarist in the band.

Mogens started playing guitar as a teenager inspired by the great guitarist of that time, such as Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Winter, BB King among others. His musical background is rooted in blues, rock and jazz, and Mogen's has played in various constellations over the years. His intense solos is evidently rooted in the old role models from Chicago, Texas and neighboring states, but also modern day guitarist like Robben Ford and Matt Scofield.

Chicago Blues Cruise welcomes Thomas Laurberg Vedel as the new drummer in the band.

There have been drums in Thomas' life for as long as he can remember. Thomas started going to Maribo Music School when he was 9 years old. Over time, Thomas has played different styles, and in his youth he played hard rock and in 95-96 and joined the professional English band The Works, which played pop, rock and blues.Thomas joined the Matalrap band Cuban Missile Crisis in '98, and around that time he also became interested in jazz.

Chicago Blues Cruise has currently no upcoming events due to the corona situation. We should have participated in The Mojo Blues Battle at Mojo Bluesbar in Copenhagen on the 21'st of March as well as a private event on the 28'th of March and a concert at Mojo Bluesbar in Copenhagen on the 8'th of April, all has unfortunately been cancelled.
